After a long career as a consulting civil and structural engineer I studied Art & Design for three years at Art Academy East in Norwich.
I currently work full time as an artist, mainly concentrating on Norfolk landscapes.
Norfolk, with its extensive, varied coastline and big skies, brings to life memories of long, pleasant walks with my children, grandchildren and dogs.
I also specialise in dog portraits, using colour and expression to capture the character of our beloved pets.
My preferred medium is oil allowing me time to blend and mix colours on the canvas, subsequently layering to produce a sense of richness and depth.
